| The Legend
of the Dark Knight is brought vividly to life in this
magnificent screen version of Bob Kane`s immortal creation.
By day, Bruce Wayne (Michael Keaton) is a billionaire
playboy, By night he is Batman, unstoppable Caped Crusader,
armed with a stunning array of high-tech gadgets including
the awesome Batmobile. His mortal enemy, the utterly
demented Joker (Jack Nicholson), is intent on ruling the
city, destroying Batman and wooing Wayne`s girlfriend, the
gorgeous Vicky Vale (Kim Basinger). The scene is set for a
titanic showdown on the streets of Gotham between the forces
of good and evil when the clown prince of Gotham hatches a
dastardly plot to make Gotham City die laughing.
